WHO WE ARE
What We DoWHO WE ARE
Brave Network members come from a wide range of Christian denominations and other faiths. From leaders of large churches wanting to learn more about affirming theology, to LGBTIQ people of faith wanting to grow their advocacy skills and learn more about the queer community, Brave is all about learning and building bridges!
Brave welcomes all those who are interested in respectfully learning more about LGBTIQ people of faith and the LGBTIQ Community.
OUR MISSION
“We at Brave believe that LGBTIQ people are a loved and essential part of God’s intended human diversity”
Our mission therefore is to work towards repairing the harm caused to the LGBTIQ community and their families inflicted by religious queerphobia, non-affirming theology, and the ex-gay/ex-trans/conversion therapy movement.
We value the good that faith brings to people’s lives and we want to see LGBTIQ people and their allies supported to experience a vibrant faith.
